First Brothers Playing in the Super Bowl May Make More Money Creating Content
Jason and Travis Kelce are the first brothers to play against each other in the Super Bowl, but what's more fascinating is the media empire they started about 6 months ago that could one day generate more revenue than their NFL contracts
If you aren't familiar with the podcast, it's called New Heights (@newheightshow) with Jason & Travis Kelce and is the No. 1 Most Popular Sports Podcast on Spotify.
They launched in August of 2022 and were an instant success accumulating social followings over 1M
IG: 275k
TikTok: 630k
Twitter: 102k @newheightshow
What's may be more interesting...the Youtube fandom Since launching August 29, 2022 they have gained 504k subscribers & almost 125M views (Well actually 124,798,545 views to be exact). To put in perspective. THE super bowl gets 100M viewers and charges around $7M for 30 sec ad spot.
While they aren't getting those ad rates yet, based on the standard youtube ad rates they have already generated in the $625k range. This doesn't include brand deals, talent fees, merch or other promotions via the show.
General Youtube Rates: The actual rates an advertiser pays varies, usually between $0.10 to $0.30 per view, but averages out at $0.18 per view. On Average, the YouTube channel can receive $18 per 1,000 ad views. This equates to $3 - $5 per 1000 video views.
Remember, Pat McAfee (@PatMcAfeeShow) famously inked a 4 year $120M deal with FanDuel this year and it seems like the up-and-coming media moguls from Cleveland Heights may be on a similar trajectory
